#122 – La La Land and Being an Artist
On this episode of the Reel World Theology Podcast:
Fresh off winning seven (a record) Golden Globes, we talk about La La Land— a modern day musical. Brought to us by acclaimed Whiplash director Damien Chazelle, La La Land gives us butterflies for old musicals and the drama and life questions that Chazelle brought to his previous work. The film asks a lot of questions about what we do as artists and how that affects our relationships. We try to answer some of those and have a blast talking about some of our favorite musicals.

Lots of great thoughts. Some overlap with my blog post. Thought i would link it here.
Worth mentioning that my wife and i saw this on our anniversary. She walked out angry at the ending. I loved the ambiguity of it. Made for good discussion.
